The former Esholt Waste Water Treatment Works site sits close to both Leeds and Bradford and as a result of advances in technology, the operational footprint of the site has reduced significantly over recent years, leaving large areas of formerly operational land redundant and unused. The future site development comprises of the three broad categories; innovative employment (100,000m2), sustainable housing (150 homes) and community enhancements, devised based on the economic and social needs of the locality. BATH QUAYS NORTH
Located within 5-minutes walk of Bath Spa railway station, Bath Quays North (BQN) is considered by Bath & North East Somerset Council to be “the most significant development opportunity in a generation”. Working with Bath & North East Somerset Council, Allies & Morrison and wider project team, 3ADAPT supported the development of the masterplan and outline planning submission. This included undertaking a suite of studies and reports such as an energy and CO2 emissions assessment, a photovoltaic array options and output study, an electric vehicle provision study, a desktop wind microclimate assessment, the sustainability statement and climate change chapter to support the Environmental Statement.

DYSON CAMPUS MASTERPLAN, MALMESBURY, UK
Established sustainability and energy strategy for state of the art R&D facilities at Malmesbury with leading sustainability aspirations.
KING ABDULLAH CITY OF ATOMIC & RENEWABLE ENERGY, RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA
Led the sustainability and integrated utility infrastructure team to deliver a transformational new city with a high quality of life for its citizens. This included net energy positive targets and a blueprint for a national sustainability rating system.
ENTERPRISE AREA MASTERPLAN & ENERGY SERVICES, BATH, UK
Defined the integrated infrastructure and low carbon energy strategy for future development in Bath to attract and retain the best talent and business. This led to a study exploring different commercial delivery models and the role of the council in energy service provision.
ST AUSTELL, ECO TOWN, CORNWALL, UK
Developed a leading low carbon and energy strategy to deliver a mixed use development for one of the three shortlisted government eco-towns.
PROJECT SALALAH, OMAN
Developed the sustainability, resource and utilities strategies which is envisaged to become Oman’s premier international sustainable tourist destination comprising four hotels and 1,000 residential villas set in a beautiful 424 hectare cliff top site.
GURGAON SECTOR 61, INDIA
Developed the integrated utilities, sustainable development and Environmental Certification strategies for this 60 hectare site. It will be a new district (50,000 residents) located on the rapid transit route and connecting into adjacent commercial developments and a new University.
DISCOVERY PARK, SANDWICH, UK
Undertook due diligence audits to assist with the purchase of the site and subsequent masterplan to deliver a sustainable development to attract people to live, work and play on the site.
YUNNAN MASTERPLAN, CHINA
Developed sustainability, integrated resource and infrastructure strategies as part of the economic regeneration for this rural area to deliver sanitation infrastructure, improve life expectancy and create new jobs.
